What is SWS?
Surf Web Series is a Global online surfing world championship. It is a revolution in competitive surfing where athletes compete by entering surf videos from around the world. The digital platform showcases surfers putting in their best performances on the best waves in their home countries. In this way the SWS is able to impact surf fans directly, anywhere in the world. All they need is a smartphone!
Why we are doing it?
SWS provides a solution to the travel and other restrictions and challenges the world is facing in 2020. It aims to connect surfers, waves, partners and fans through the Internet. It is a disruptive concept, yet comprises uncomplicated engagement with the audience. It allows the promotion of surfers using widely-available technology and supports talent without geographic or economic barriers. SWS seeks to promote surfers on a global scale through free surf sessions.
Who is surfing?
The the best contest- and free-surfers from each country can compete from their own home breaks. They are able to showcase their best performances without travelling, giving opportunity to anyone surfer. Performance is all that counts.
